A Greenwood man is in jail on drug charges. Delaware State Police arrested 35-year old Lynn Trader at a traffic stop on Friday. Police seized about 10 grams of crack cocaine, 21 grams of marijuana and over 4,100 dollars in drug money. Charges include possession with the intent to deliver cocaine as well as delivery of marijuana.
A Delaware State Trooper on routine patrol observed a Delaware vehicle occupied by Lynn D. Trader. Trader a passenger was known by the Trooper to be wanted on outstanding court capiases’. The Delaware trooper first observed the vehicle on Pollybranch Road Selbyville.
The Trooper followed the vehicle and summoned for additional assistance. Once an officer from Selbyville Police Department was nearby, the Trooper with the assistance of the Selbyville Police was able to perform a traffic stop on McCabe Court Selbyville Delaware. During the course of the traffic stop Trader was taken into custody and searched. As a result of the search of Trader Delaware State Police seized approximately 9.9 grams of “crack” cocaine, 21 grams of marijuana and over 4,100 United States Currency.
Trader after being charged with four drug related charges was incarcerated on $15,000 cash bail. (I currently do not have information on what capiases’ Trader was wanted on)
